📻 CB
I started broadcasting on CB frequencies in the former country in 1984 - Yugoslavia. At that time, my late uncle CB SITO, who also has the merit for my beginnings on CB, got me excited about CB.At the beginning, I had problems like any newcomer with communication and quick answers to questions, which was reflected in my success at school. Later, when I had been communicating on CB frequencies for some time, my success at school also improved.
I was a member of the CB RK Adriatic in Polje and had the membership number 1A216 and was the secretary of this club. I was also a member of the CB RK Vrtinec in Vir near Domžale. Those times were very promising for CB and its development. Later, CB supplanted the development of NMT and GSM phones. Recently, however, the number of old CB returnees who once worked has been increasing again. Some have replaced their CB skip, but most have not.
In 1998 I became a member of the DX club Delta Tango and obtained the call sign 327DT114.
In 2014 I became a member of the DX club Lima Victor and obtained the call sign 327LV008.
At the time I started on CB frequencies and until today I have also made many friends, among whom are the famous CB Delta Mike, CB Miki, CB Aco, CB Sito, CB Šumadinac, CB Vojko, CB Ribič, CB Tom Cat, CB Tornado, CB Ekos and many others.
We call CB the city band, where you do not need an amateur radio exam and it is accessible to everyone.
Later, after independence, I also passed the amateur radio exam, because I was not satisfied with just CB frequencies.
